This notice describes how personal data of users visiting or interacting with the MilanoMarittima.it website is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The controller also acts as data processor. No DPO has been appointed, as it is not mandatory for the activities carried out.
2. Data collected
We collect personal data that the user voluntarily provides through the hotel quote request form:
- name
- email address
- phone number (optional)
- arrival and departure dates
- number of adults and children, children's ages if applicable
- requested meal plan
- optional free-text message
Usage statistics. The site uses a first-party statistics tool that collects: pages visited, time spent on the page, referring page (referrer), screen size and browser language, together with a random identifier valid only for the current browsing session (stored in sessionStorage and deleted when the browser tab is closed). We also record some interactions anonymously: clicks on phone, WhatsApp and email contact details (including the contact clicked) and the submission of a quote request. We do not use persistent identifiers or profiling techniques, and no data is shared with third parties for marketing purposes. The data is sent to the statistics endpoint s.luciobonini.com; the IP address, technically required for transmission as in any web communication, is not part of the statistical data recorded.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Data is processed solely to forward the user's request to the selected hotels and allow them to respond with a quote. The legal basis is performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
4. Recipients
Data is shared exclusively with the hotels selected by the user in the form, for the purpose of responding to the request. The user also receives a confirmation email at the address provided. A copy of the request is retained internally by the controller for administrative purposes.
The browsing statistics described in section 2 are processed by the statistics service provider (endpoint s.luciobonini.com), appointed as data processor, on servers located within the European Union.
No data is sold, transferred, or disclosed to third parties other than those indicated above.
5. Retention
Quote request data is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and for administrative purposes, up to a maximum of 36 months, unless earlier deletion is requested by the user.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Data is processed and stored on servers located within the European Union. The only exception: if the user chooses to activate the Google map (loaded only on click), the IP address is transmitted to Google LLC (USA), as described in the Cookie Policy. Apart from this case, no transfers outside the EU occur.
7. User rights
Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the user has the right to:
- access their personal data and obtain a copy;
- request rectification or deletion;
- object to processing or request its restriction;
- receive data in a structured format (portability);
- withdraw any consent given at any time.

The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
